Tew fam pics

I forgot to post these family pictures we took in June! It's always fun to try to get all the kids to look and smile at the same time!
With my grandparents.
My brother Nate, Jess, and Mabel
My brother Brady and Becky (kids not pictured, except for their 4th on the way!). They recently moved to Alaska!
 My sister Kristy and Dave
My brother Bryan, Jenna and their kids with Myah when first born. Jenna wasn't there for family pictures, so I had to post an old picture. They have a baby on the way as well. This meeting with Myah probably helped them want to have another!

It's funny now...

On Tuesday I was finishing up cooking dinner. I had some food on the stove and in the oven. When it was done, I grabbed the garlic bread out of the oven as well as a casserole and put both of them on the stove. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for everything on the stove and so the glass pan with my casserole in it dropped to the floor...onto my foot. First off, OUCH! I moved my foot so fast after it landed that it didn't get burned, but the weight of the dish all landed on my foot. Second, ARGH! I'd just spent about an hour making dinner all to have the main dish fall on the floor! I wanted to throw something, so I threw what I was holding...which happened to be two light-weight oven mits. But then I immediately picked them up because our floor was gross from Myah's earlier playing and I didn't want Myah to pick them up and get more dirty. (I'm a very rational person, even when I'm extremely angry, apparently!) It was a pretty wimpy show of anger and it's funny now that I think about it! I should have punched a wall! Justin witnessed the whole thing and I'm amazed he didn't laugh at the sight of my "angry outburst!"

Justin was so nice to clean it up while I went to our room to be upset and cry. Myah would come check on me a few times and give me hugs and then when Justin came and got me, we went and ate dinner while he informed me of the good news. He told me the glass dish didn't break; only my foot! And he told me that not that much of dinner spilled on the floor and he was able to pick it all up...onto his plate...and he was going to eat it! Due to my hair shedding so much, he had to pick out a ton of hairs, but he ate it even though I told him to throw it away. Now that's love...or hunger...or both!

We went to the doctor yesterday for Justin, and the doctor noticed my old man cane I was using (thanks for letting me borrow it dad!) and looked at my foot. I got a few x-rays and it's not broken. It was pretty swollen and bruised some but it's going down and I can walk better and better every day. Needless-to-say, the doctor, nurse, and x-ray tech all said, "so...it says you dropped a pan on your foot?" as a smile would come across their face. I guess it was pretty hilarious!

Cabin

The Calder side went to a beautiful and huge cabin last week for a few days. We had a great time in the cabin playing ping-pong, billiards, foosball, air hockey, corn hole, hot-tubbing, and hanging out. Some of us also went kayaking and on our way home we went hiking. It was a very fun time!

Mommy's little "helper"

Myah is walking on her own now...more like running on her own. Especially when we're at home where she knows the terrain, she just runs from room to room. She is in to everything and loves exploring! Now when I do the dishes she comes over and "helps" me load...or should I say unload...the dishwasher (notice all the silverware on the ground in the pictures).
I just think it's amazing to see her development. She's so smart and I am constantly laughing at how funny she is. She loves to play hide-and-seek and come find me and Justin. I can't imagine life without Myah!

Myah's One! ...3 weeks ago...

I can't believe my baby girl is one already! Her birthday was on July 29th, so we were in San Francisco. When we got back, she opened a present from us and cards from great-grandparents...
...and she loved the money in the cards! ...not a good sign for the future.

 Fun times!
Celebrating with my parents later that week:
 She's was great at unwrapping!
Yay for water floater stuff!
Celebrating J and Myah's b days with the Calders on Aug. 10th:
I made a duo cake for Justin and Myah. Half a one-cake and half a pizza cake. Anyone who knows Justin knows he LOVES pizza!
She loved the cake and ate everything crumb!
...and then she was very sugar-high! She walked like a drunk person over to the presents!
She got a shopping cart, book, doll, and bottles for the doll.
Justin opened cards later. He turned 26 on Sunday! Crazy!

Tyler's home!

Justin's brother, Tyler, got home from his two year LDS mission in Uraguay last Thursday. I am so grateful for LDS missions and bringing the gospel to those who don't have it, but we are so happy to finally have him back!

Waiting for Tyler to come down the escalator. The anticipation was killing us!

They were like celebrities coming down!
Justin is so glad to have his brother back. He missed having him here so much.
 Tyler with the parents.
The siblings. I love this picture!
We then went to eat at Chili's. (Porter was so good to turn around and look at the camera the whole time!)
Gotta love crackers!
All of the babies were born while Tyler was on his mission, so he's been getting to know them all. He's been so sweet with them! This first day Myah cuddled with him and just loved being with him. It was so darling!
Julie made the babies onesies with their initial on them to make it a little easier for Ty to remember who each of them was!
And finally family pictures with everyone!
