2 years old

Myah turned 2 years old on the 29th. I can't believe she's already 2. She had a very fun day! We went to the park, made her cake (Myah helped eat the batter), and played. Later, Justin's mom and sister came to bring Myah a present and play for a bit. When they were leaving, Myah walked right out the door with them and as she walked away, turned to me while waving, and said, "bye, see ya!" Needless-to-say, she went to play at their house for a few hours, as she apparently wanted. It was pretty hilarious! We had a party with my family that evening (and a farewell to my brother's family who headed back to Alaska the next day...sad).

When we got back home, she opened our present to her:
The gun shoots balls. We found it hilarious because she can do it on her own...which we didn't expect!
The next day I took her to her 2 year checkup at the doctor. Besides Myah screaming bloody-murder the entire time, she's a perfectly healthy little girl! Just terrified of the doctor's office. She's about 28 lbs, 36 inches, and doing great. She was happy to be "all done" with the doctor.
Earlier in the week we had a little ice-cream party with Myah. She got to choose whatever toppings she wanted. She loved pouring herself sprinkles. So much so that her ice-cream was VERY crunchy!

We love our sweet Myah!
She makes me laugh all day and has the sweetest personality. I can't imagine life without her!

Our little dare-devil!

On Saturday my side of the family went to some friends of my parents' backyard. They have a zip-line, huge slip-and-slide, big sand pit, and just a beautiful yard. Myah wanted to go on the zip-line...and she loved it! Enjoy these videos of her. (Justin and I have watched them tons of times and just can't believe how grown up she is!)
I brought my swimsuit knowing that I would go down the slip-and-slide and Justin left his behind knowing he wouldn't. It ended up that I only sat on the side of the pool and Justin went down tons of times...in his clothes. He was awesome!

Smiles

Reagan has been smiling a lot more lately. After she eats she gets really happy and is willing to smile up a storm if I talk to her. I love it!
I put Reagan down on her belly in the middle of the couch cushion and she migrated into the crack. I guess she felt more comfortable with her face squished into the crack of the couch!
Bonding time.

Fun in the sun

We've had so much fun this past month. It's fun to be able to enjoy the outdoors even though I complain about being so hot. I haven't had much time to blog about it, so here it all is!
In June we had a cook-out with friends:
We all had babies this year! This is our group of friends that all lived in the same apartment complex before we had kids. We get together once a month, so it's been fun to see our little families growing.
The guys and the babes.

Myah probably ate a whole bag of chips that night!
Splash Pad!
Myah loved it, though she didn't get directly in the water. Still a fun time!

Swimming!
My brother's family from Alaska came down (his wife, Becky and the kids are still here for the month but Brady had to go back for work) so we've been getting together with them a lot. We went swimming at a neighbor's pool. Myah still talks about swimming with Grandma and Grandpa everyday!
4th of July!
Myah had a good time putting on some old lipstick of mine before the parade!
We went to the Layton City parade and had a good, yet hot, time.
After the parade, my family all met at my parents.
We played games, played in the water, ate dinner, and watched fireworks.
Myah after eating a chocolate cupcake with red frosting...not what it looks like!
My mom, sister Kristy, and sister-in-law Becky with the new babes in the family-Reagan, Jones, and Emma.
Myah liked the fireworks for a bit but was so tired she got upset and then fell asleep on Justin. Fun day though!
