It's official

I think I have officially hit the point where I am ready to not be pregnant! I'm 36 weeks and am getting worn down. Now that it is hot, I am miserable! Feet and ankles swollen and sore, belly hurting more, labor pains in my back and legs, and I'm very tired. I also feel really out of it! I went to work for a little bit today and then to the grocery store and the whole time I felt like I was in this different realm. Hopefully I didn't say anything weird to my co-workers, the patients, or the store clerk!

One problem has been allieviated though! Last night my mom, dad, and brother came over and brought an air conditioning unit to save us from the heat of our apartment since it doesn't have air conditioning (I didn't know it didn't have AC when we got the apartment...). It's working great and it is absolutely amazing not to be sweating any time I'm home! Thank you so much mom, dad, and Brady!

I am so excited for our baby to be here in a month! I still love feeling her move and even her many hiccup episodes because that means she's doing well, but it will be nice not to be pregnant! I shouldn't complain much because I haven't had terrible pain I hear pregnant women complain about. I attribute that to my exercises and trying to stay healthy. I also shouldn't complain because I was blessed to be able to get pregnant and I am so excited to start our famliy. But either way, I'm pregnant and I think that gives me the right to compain!!

Foam pits

Last weekend, after we got back from the bed and breakfast, we went down to an open gym to meet Justin's sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Jeff. We also went with Jeff's brother, and our friend, Taw. The gym had trampolines everywhere and some with foam pits to jump into from the trampoline. I, of course, did not participate and instead was the very pregnant photographer and vidiographer. Everyone else seemed to have a grand time showing off their flips and tricks jumping into the foam pits and having fun on the trampolines. It was pretty awesome to watch them all! Justin has some amazing acrobatics...I was so proud! He had so much fun and has been wanting to go to a place like this for months. But I tell you what, he was so sore that night and the next few days! On our drive home with Taw, we stopped and got some ice cream and Justin and Taw could barely walk in! I think this picture shows how exhausted Justin felt afterward! ...That's my man!

Crunch time

So I am 34 weeks along in my pregnancy and for about the past month I have been keeping a list of things we need to get done before the baby comes. It's definitely beginning to be crunch time and it seems that most of our weekends, when we finally have time to work on stuff, are already filled with many events. It's tricky with Justin's work and school schedule for us to be able to get things done together-such as going through boxes that we just stuffed in closets, organizing our rooms, and getting things taken care of for when the baby comes. Luckily the clinic I work at will be closed tomorrow due to the Physical Therapist being gone for a conference, so I can just go in for the morning and get the things done I need and then come home when Justin comes home and we can go through more boxes and such. I feel like I have to write simple things down in my planner in order to get them done...it also doesn't help that my memory isn't as great since I've been pregnant!

Little getaway!

Last weekend my parents invited me, my sister, and our husbands to go to a Bed and Breakfast called Snowberry Inn up by Pineview Reservoir. We had a great time enjoying the outdoors a little bit, playing foosball and other games, eating, and just being together. Each room is themed a little different and it's a pretty cool place. Just thought I'd post a few pictures of us outside the Inn and us eating breakfast...yum!
