4 months!

The Reagster is 4 months old today! I just can't believe how much she's grown in those 4 months. She's now in size 3 diapers (she's going to be a tall one...no surprise there) and smiles all the time. She has started cooing a lot more now. It's more of a deep, loud growl. Or she likes to blow spit bubbles. She's trying to grab at things now and is constantly putting her fists in her mouth. One of her favorite things is to look in the mirror at herself and whoever is holding her. It always makes her laugh.
She hasn't been sleeping as great as she used to, but she still does pretty good. I usually feed her once or twice in the night. I love her soooo much and so does her daddy and sister!
She goes to the doctor next week for her checkup. I'm excited to see the stats.

Check the oven!

Well, I almost burned the apartment down yesterday! Not really, but we did have an oven fire. I was in the process of making peach cobbler and had the filling on the stove. I quickly turned on the oven so it could preheat. A few minutes later I noticed smoke coming out of the oven! I opened it up and there was one of Myah's plastic plates melting on the rack and on fire on the bottom of the oven. I turned the oven off and shut the door to stop the air from feeding the fire but wasn't sure what to do...throw water on it? I opened up windows and such but ended up calling Justin and he came home from work and helped me get it settled.
Meanwhile, Myah kept running in the kitchen, pointing to the oven and saying "fire!" We got our fans going and went out for dinner at Arctic Circle (because plastic is toxic when melted)! We cleaned the oven last night and things are good now, but it was exciting.
So as you can assume, Myah likes to put things in and out of the oven. Now I know, always check the oven before turning it on! It think it's cute that she does what she sees me do and likes to pretend she's cooking. I should have known to look! She also loves to be in "my house"-which is under the table:
She likes to be her own independent woman. She talks on her phone, eats, takes care of her doll, and just likes being under there! She's a growing girl...starting fires and all...and I can't believe it.

5th Anniversary

Yesterday was our 5th wedding anniversary! We dropped the girls off with Justin's parents' and then went to Farmington Station. We had an awesome dinner at Dickey's BBQ pit and then hung out by the fountains for a while.
It was a beautiful place and we talked on a comfy couch while enjoying this scenery! We had some great alone time and talked about where we think we'd be in another 5 years. Can't believe it's been 5 already!

Reagan's blessing day

Our sweet little Reagan Marie got blessed on Sunday by her daddy. Justin gave a wonderful blessing while Reagan just looked at him the whole time.
These were the men in the circle who could make it. Reagan's uncles, grandpa's, and great-grandpa's.
We had brunch at the park across from our church after the blessing. It was perfect weather and we had a great time with family. Myah had a blast swinging and going down the slide at the playground next to the pavilion. It was a great location!
Noah with a huge branch he found!
Reagan with her grandparents and her great Nana and Papa. (Myah and Tyler photo-bombed behind!)
Reagan is very loved and we're so glad she's in our family!

A good laugh

Here's a good video of Reagan laughing!

Reagan at 3 months

Reagan is 3 months old and is starting to show her cute little personality a bit more. She enjoys being awake now (instead of just eating and going back to sleep) and will coo and blow spit bubbles. She discovered her tongue yesterday and now sticks it out all the time. She'll smile anytime someone talks to her, which is so darling! When I pull the camera out to capture it though, she clams up.
She's laughed pretty hard a few times. Justin got her laughing one time but by the time I came with the camera she'd fizzled out a bit:
Myah is still loving being a big sister to Reagan! We had issues with the terrible two's for a month (especially when it came to nap time or bed time) but now she's usually pretty good to listen and do what we tell her. She's found a huge interest in books recently and now will go to bed easily because she gets to choose a book or two for us to read to her. When we're saying goodnight, she procrastinates it as much as possible by trying to get as many hugs and kisses out of us as she can. It's hard to say no to that! She also likes to take a book to bed and when I go to turn off her night-light later, the book is usually lying on her chest as if she'd been reading it until she fell asleep. So sweet.
One of the things Myah loves to do the most though is swim! She loves it!
My parent's neighbors have been letting us use their pool when we want. The last time we went I discovered that when I let go of Myah in her tube, she could swim by herself! She was so proud! When I'd grab a hold of her tube after a while, she'd turn to me and say "self!" meaning she wanted to swim by herself! (This video was taken on my phone...hence the bad quality)
I love my little girls!

Justin's B day!

Yesterday was Justin's 27th b-day! He went to work and then came home early because he didn't have anything to do. Besides him wondering about going to the hospital because his chest was hurting so bad (which is sadly normal for him), it was a good day! We loved having him home longer.
Here are some sister pictures we've taken. Myah just loves to "hod" (hold) Reagan and be by her.

Myah singing while showing her choice of clothes for the afternoon.
We also went to the Zoo a few weeks ago. Very fun!
