Life here

Here is our past few weeks in a few (or more than a few) pictures.
Tumbling Class
Myah tried a tumbling class! She did really well. After the class though, I asked if she liked the class, teachers, kids, activities, etc. and she said yes to every question! Then I said, "do you want to go again?" And she quickly said, "no." So I think we'll try a dance class next and see if she likes that better. I enjoyed watching her though!
 Rain & Hail!
We have had so much rain and we have loved it!
Commissioning
Justin's brother Tyler graduated and got commissioned to an Officer.
 Mother's Day
We came home from church and Reagan immediately smashed one of my Mother's day roses!
 I love my mom!
Grandpa tricks!
I love my gals and am glad to be their mom!
Chillin'
(Thanks Aunt Kami for these cute chairs! Reagan and her doggie love them!)
Cornstarch!
I think playing with cornstarch with a bit of water is my new favorite activity for Myah! So amazingly fun, quick cleanup, and if Reagan happens to eat it...it's fine! Win, win, win! This kept Myah occupied for about an hour and a half!

Potty and play time

This morning Reagan told me she needed to go potty and started getting undressed. So I took off her diaper, put her on the pot, and sure enough she went potty! Then tonight before the girls' bath I asked Reagan if she needed to go potty and she said yes. I put her on (not expecting anything) and she went again! So exciting! I'm not sure if I want to muster up the energy to push this and get her all potty trained, but hopefully we can ease into it. I'm proud of her though!
Also, today the girls were playing in their room with the door shut for a long time...which could be a bad thing. So I got the camera to find out what mischief they were getting in to and I was pleasantly surprised! ...

Parents' return!

My parents were in Graz, Austria for the past 18 months serving a mission. They had great experiences and loved working with the young adults so much. The flew home April 10th and got to the SLC airport late April 10th...about midnight after their long flight from Munich, Germany and then a 6 or 7 hour layover in Chicago...yeash! They were happy to finally get here!
The Airport
 Homecoming/Easter Party
The next morning we met at my sister's house for a party! The girls loved seeing my parents in person, though they were pretty shy at first. We had a yummy brunch and had a great time playing outside and being together.
My parents with the grandkids- minus the kids in Alaska...we missed them.
Easter Egg Hunt
Reagan is in this picture with the kids, she's just bent over looking at an ant on the cement!

 Presents
My parents brought back cute little dolls for the girl grandkids and bears (or a marmot or something!) for the boys. They also brought back lederhosen swimsuits for the guys and necklaces for us girls. Plus they brought back lots of chocolate. Mmm...
Hilarious!
 Back Home
Saturday evening they came to their house for the first time since being back. We had hung this cute sign that my sister-in-law, Jess had made and their neighbors had also put a tape message up after! My parents had forgotten stuff about their house, like which light switches turn on which lights. It was funny to see! We are so glad they are back and have been loving being with them!

Easter Time!

The past month has been nice because we haven't been sick! (Though as I'm writing this, Reagan and I are a bit sick). The weather has been great and we've had good times. So here are some of our pictures of the month.
Baby Sophia
Justin's brother, Tyler and Liesel had their first baby. Sophia is so adorable and Myah has been loving holding her whenever we see her. Reagan loves her too but on this particular day I think she thought we were switching her out!
Easter at Nana and Papa's
Everyone was terrified because Reagan was pushing the gas!
Cute girls
Talking with friends out the window!
Ready for church...though they look like it's the first day of school.
Reagan has decided a few nights a week to not sleep so well through the night anymore. So I have to lie down a lot!
Helping daddy
Justin was cleaning his gun the day after he and I had gone shooting and Myah wanted to help! She really wants to go shooting but I know the noise alone would scare her. We'll wait a few more years and then go with a .22 but Justin has been teaching her about gun safety.
 Easter!
...more Easter pictures to come with my parents getting home from their mission!
