August!

This summer was just so much fun! It flew by but had a lot packed into it. Here 's the summary of our August.
Founders Day
Both my parents and Justin's parents helped at this event to celebrate Fruit Heights. So of course we had to go...and we are glad we did! There was so much fun stuff to do for the kids! We had a blast, so thanks for telling us about it both moms and dads!
My parents were doing the "fishing pond" with a few other couples and they had awesome prizes!
Justin's parents were running the information booth...and I sadly didn't get a picture of them. But they did a great job!
 Dress Up
Lots of princess dress up at our place.
(Reagan really wanted that Velcro monkey hugging her!)
 Justin's B-day
Justin turned 29 on August 12th! We celebrated Justin and Jeff's b-days at the Calders that Sunday. We celebrated at our place on the 29th and that night my parents took us out for dinner. Fun week!

N & P G's Anniversary
Justin's Nana and Papa (their great grand kids call them Nana and Papa G (great)) had their 55th wedding anniversary and they treated all of the adults to an amazing dinner at the Timber mine. We are so glad they are in our lives.
Justin Uncle Scott and two of his kids, Zane and Avery came down. Last time I saw them the kids were both a lot shorter than me! So it's been a while!
 The Cabin
We went and visited my parents at a Camper World cabin one day and then stayed the night on Saturday night. We swam, played corn hole, ate yummy food, and played games. Pretty fun!
 Surf n' Swim
We had our annual reunion at Surf n' Swim for my mom's side of the fam. We enjoyed eating, swimming, and playing at the park.

The Zoo
Justin's sister, Katie, invited me and the girls to go to the Zoo with her and her kids. We had a great time!!
(I spy Savannah trying to climb on our stroller. The little girls loved switching strollers.)
R's Fingernails
Not a huge event but it was cute! Myah came running in while Justin and I were doing the dishes after dinner and said, "Reagan's painting her fingernails!!!" I had already painted her nails earlier that day but I guess not like she wanted! When we ran into the bathroom, she was sitting on the floor painting away. There were a few drips on the floor but she did a pretty good job on her nails for a two year old!
 Playing at N & P's house
The girls always have a grand time playing at Nana and Papa's house when we go during the week. The cousins love to play together and it's fun to watch!
Reagan wouldn't move from my spot so I sat on her. She thought it was fun holding me!
Bowling
We took Myah and Reagan bowling last week and it was so much fun!
This pic is blurry but it shows the excitement Reagan got when she'd knock her pins over!

In August Justin also got a new job for three months in South Carolina. He will be moving out by himself  in about a week. ...cry, sob...but it should be a great job and hopefully it will tun into something more or lead to another great job...where we can all go with him.

More July

We had so much going on in July. My brother, Brady and Becky's family came down from Alaska for the month, (well, Brady had to go home to work after 2 weeks) so my family got together a bunch and also had family pictures taken.
Brady and Becky's daughter, Natalie, had surgery a few days before these pictures so she was a trooper!
(Justin needs to photoshop a few things out that the photographer didn't, but I wanted to post this one of the grandkids and grandparents anyway.)
We had a good time while others were getting family pictures done!
We played a lot in July.
Went to my 10 year High School reunion with my friend Kenz and her hubby, Mike!
Said goodbye to Justin's brother, Tyler, Liesel, and Sophia who moved to Oklahoma for 6 months for Army training. (I had gum surgery a few days before this picture so I have a bad smile).
Then we had a goodbye party for Brady and Becky's family. My parents rented this bouncy/water slide and a snow cone machine! Mmm...

Myah's 4 years old!

Myah had quite the week of birthday celebrations! I can't believe she is four and will be starting pre-school this fall! I'm excited about it but a part of me is sad that my sweet little Myah will be going into the world without me, already...even if it is just 6 hours a week.
Sunday
We started off the week by celebrating at the Calders on Sunday.
She had a great time being with her cousins, family, and opening her presents. Homemade princess aprons, a tool set (that she really wanted!) and drill, building kit, and new undies! These presents describe Myah perfectly...princess/tomboy. She loves all the princess stuff but loves getting dirty and fixing things with her tool set! Her favorite color is blue, closely followed by pink. She's a well rounded girl, I guess!
 Wednesday-July 29th
On Myah's actual birthday she opened presents from us when Justin was working from home in the morning. She was so excited...
...Reagan on the other hand was not excited. It's hard to watch your sister open presents!
She grabbed the tissue paper and sobbed into that!
After getting ready for the day, Myah opened her favorite present and she let Reagan help open and model the night gowns.
Wednesday Evening
My parents came over for dinner, cake, and ice cream. Myah had a great time and loved the princess dress, accessories, and harmonica!

Saturday
Myah decided that for her birthday she wanted to go to Classic Fun Center and skate and jump in the bouncy houses. So we went on Saturday and we all (surprisingly) had an amazingly fun time!
These fisher price skates were hilarious! The foot and shoe goes in them. Quite the contraption!
Reagan's face says it all! She was climbing all these bouncy houses (with a bit of help) with all of us. We had so much fun!
I couldn't choose which video to put on here so I had to put them all! This first one shows the good big sister Myah is. Such a helper.

(Watch Reagan in this video...I didn't know she was right there, so she fell in!)
We all got a workout!
We love our Myah so much and are glad we could celebrate a lot!
