Nana and Papa G's

Yesterday we went to Justin's Nana and Papa's house in Logan. Always a fun time! The pool water was too hot to swim this time, so instead we went to lunch, to the park, and the girls drew with sidewalk chalk at their house.
Reagan was saying, "too bright!"

School Carnival

Thurs, Oct. 8th our elementary school had a school carnival. Blow-up bouncy houses, games, and concessions. The girls had a great time!
The neighbor kids would wait for Reagan and go down with her...it was so sweet. You can see Manny (girl across the street from us) at the top of the slide, Haylee waiting at the bottom, and Ayden going down with her on the right. We are going to miss Haylee and Ayden when they move next week. The Ruperts have been great next door neighbors and friends.

Playing with Daddy

While Justin's gone we Skype with him two times every night, usually during dinner and then before bed so we can say a family prayer and then say goodnight. It's been fun to see that the girls still play with him even with the distance!
Besides our favorite man being gone, we've been doing pretty good! The girls love to play and go places. Myah's been loving pre-school! She loves her teachers and friends in class and she talks about all the things she does constantly! A few days ago she came home and while having her fingers make a diamond said, "This is a rhombus! A rhombus is a diamond." I was impressed...especially because if she would have asked me what a rhombus was, I would have had to look it up to make sure!
Myah did have a hard time going to school for the 5 school days after J left. When I'd take her, she would cry for a few minutes because she was worried about daddy and missed him, but now she understands he's good and daddy does fun tricks over Skype if she doesn't cry, so she loves that and is back to normal!
Painting on the computer
They love to make a bed...next to the bed. (why not just lay in the actual bed?)
Reagan loves putting a diaper on doggy. (Notice she diaper wipes box on the floor? She always grabs that to stand on in so she can turn on the light!)

Mt. Pleasant Cabin

A week after Justin left, we stayed the weekend with my parents at a cabin. We had a great time playing in the cabin, playing at the park, and eating yummy food! My mom and I also went to the Manti Temple and did an endowment session, which I loved! I've never been to a "live" session before and it was awesome.
Reagan's face was hilarious coming down the slide the first few times!
R and M peeled a boiled egg and I was very impressed with Reagan! I think she's better at it than I am!
Myah did pretty good...but half of it was peeled into the garbage!
The girls loved playing in this little stream.
Meanwhile...Justin was loving work in South Carolina. He bikes all over the place and is doing a lot of fun stuff in his spare time; seeing all the history. I love seeing the pictures he sends us! I'm so glad he's doing so well!

Patriot Point in the background. His contract is to work on a commercial/mini film for Patriot Point, where the USS Yorktown is.
He went hunting for shark teeth while we were at the cabin...
...and he found all of these!!! You can check that off your bucket-list now, J! Pretty awesome!

Night before

On Sept. 11th Justin flew to South Carolina to work for 3 months to animate for a film studio. This was the night before he left. ...Sad. We put the girls to bed at my parents so I could take Justin to the airport early the next morning. Unfortunately I woke up sick and passed out due to anxiety of him leaving and not eating fast enough so I couldn't take him. Justin's dad luckily was willing to come and took him at 5 am.
We're all doing well, though we miss each other like crazy! I am so proud of Justin always providing for us even when it will be really hard. I love you, babe.

7th Anniversary and Wheeler Farm

Anniversary Inn
Justin and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Sept. 5th! We went to the Anniversary Inn in Logan and stayed in "the Players Clubhouse." It was so much fun. The room had a foosball table and putting green. It was a fun get-away. We're the happiest we've ever been and I'm so glad to be married to Justin!
 Wheeler Farm
We met my family for lunch at Sweet Tomatoes and then some of us went to Wheeler Farm. This was animal heaven for Reagan!
