Aunt Kristy, holy pajamas, and vacuuming

A few weeks ago my mom, Myah, and I visited my sister Kristy. She had surgery previously so we went to hang out for a bit. We had such a good time just chillin' and Myah had a good time with her Aunt...as you can tell in these next pictures.
Snggle-time before Myah's nap
One evening I put on some hand-me-down pajamas we got from neighbors. This is what we quickly found:
 These are holy pajamas!

Lastly, I would like to discuss vacuuming. Myah hates it! If I wait to vacuum until Justin gets home from work, then he holds her while she clings to him like a monkey that's being attacked by an aligator! Justin loves this time because it's always nice to be snuggled to death by a baby!
Recently I haven't wanted to wait until Justin gets home to vacuum. So I've been putting Myah in our baby backpack and strapping her to my front. She still hates when I turn the vacuum on, but she ends up calming down and just relaxing while I vacuum. It's quite cute! This is us after vacuuming:

Home, sweet home...

You'll never guess (kidding), but yesterday Justin visited our home away from home...the ER! It's funny how the first time I went to the ER with Justin in 2009 was really scary and unfamiliar. Now it's like going to our summer home! It was just a quick visit this time, and we knew it would be, so no reason to get all worried or anything. He left for work yesterday at the usual time, 3:30 am, and then at 8 am I heard him coming through our door. He told me that he was having really intense chest pain and so his supervisor made him leave and said he couldn't come back to work until he has proof he went to the ER.
It's nice they were worried for him, but Justin was kind of annoyed. The reason he was annoyed is that he's had intense chest pain at least once every day since 2009, so it's nothing new and it's not fun to have to pay for an ER visit you know won't help you at all! We've had it checked out a few times and they can't ever find anything unusual with his heart or lungs except the surgical marks on his left lung. Justin explained this to his supervisor before he left but that didn't change his mind. We knew they wouldn't be able to tell Justin anything new at the hospital, and we were right. They just said it's pleurisy aka inflammation...(that seems to be the catch-all diagnosis. That's what they said I had too).
I hope one day someone will be able to help Justin get out of this terrible pain. He's great not to complain about it all the time but it's so sad to see him in pain and know he goes through that every day. I also hope we don't have any more ER visits in the near future, at least!

Our good sport!

I debated about putting this video on my blog...but it is so funny that I gave in. Please don't think less of us because we scare Myah! We've always had fun scaring her a little bit and she has always laughed. This was a bit of a bigger scare (as you can tell by her horrified face) but she did think it was funny. Even today she kept walking around corners and started laughing with anticipation of being scared...even if nothing happened. She still loves us!

It finally happened!

I thought Myah would never learn to crawl (I'm not anxious for her to be mobile, but my back hurts from walking around with her all day!) and would go straight to walking, but yesterday she finally army crawled for the first time! She was pretty good for it being her first time. The problem for her was that once she'd get the ball she wanted, she'd clap for herself and have to go fetch it again!

Idaho Falls Temple

On Friday, one of my best friend (that I met at BYU-Idaho) got married in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple. My parents, Myah, and I stayed at my cousin's house in Chubbuck, ID on Thursday night and then went to the wedding Friday morning. (Rachel lived with my parents for a while during her student teaching, so they also know her very well.) My dad stayed with Myah outside so I was able to be inside the Temple and see Rachel get sealed to her husband, Zach. It was wonderful!
What a beautiful Temple and a beautiful day!
Rachel and Zach
I looked at Rachel's ring and realized we have pretty much the same one! Good taste!
If you look close, it looks like Myah was almost picking her nose!

Playing with dad

Justin had a little more extra time to play with Myah this weekend. She had such a fun time with him! At one point last night Myah got fussy. Justin had his pillow with him and so he randomly slipped her into his pillowcase. She immediately calmed down and got smiley!
(P.S. Isn't Justin handsome?! )
I'm so glad she's a fan of doing random, fun things!

Hangin' with the Tew's

My dad has been the Bishop or in the Bishopric of a single's ward for just over 6 years. A few Sundays ago he was released from being Bishop. We went to the meeting, which was touching, and afterward had dinner at their house with all my family. My mom and dad have spent thousands of hours with the single's ward (where Justin and I met) and I'm sure they will be greatly missed. It will be nice for them to have their evenings and Sundays back! Here's the happy couple!
After dinner, Justin took Myah downstairs to play. He played darts for a while and I guess whenever he would throw the dart, Myah would laugh and laugh. Then they played a little pool with cousin Natalie. So they had a great time!
