Myah and I cleaned our apartment yesterday. She loved sweeping! Lately she's figured out the fun of jumping (she's still a rookie as you can tell in the video). Her favorite is jumping on our bed, but the floor will do.

Jones and play-date
Valentine's weekend we visited my oldest brother, Bryan and Jenna's family. They had their 4th baby in December and we just now went to meet baby Jones...whoops! We had a great evening with them and will have to do it again soon.
Jones is so adorable, just like the rest of their family.
Another brother, Brady and Becky had their 4th baby in December as well. They live in Alaska, so I haven't met little Emma yet, but it will be fun to see these babies together and add mine to the mix!
Last week we had a play-date at my mom and dad's with Myah and cousin Mabel. Fun to see the little girls together.
Myah loves these spring horses (though this picture doesn't look like it). She had a grand time!

Valentine's Day
I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day! I know it's not a huge holiday, but I think it's fun! Something to break up dismal winter...and I always look forward to chocolates! Here were the highlights.
A pretty normal day, except for the large amount of sugar Myah packed in! We played a lot and spent time "cooking" with her stuff. (She's enjoyed cooking with me in the kitchen for a while now, but cooking with her stuff is new). She used to like to just bang her pots and pans, but now she's using her play food WITH the pans and utinsils and it's adorable!
Snack time got a bit messy with Nutella. Yum!
For dinner I had to pull out our cheesy heart goblets!
And of course the gifts! (Besides with Justin, chocolate is where my heart lies! He did a good job!)
Our cute little Valentine girl. She helped herself to her chocolates...and any of our candy she could get out of us!
And here I am after eating much candy. Apparently I gorged myself.
(Almost 26 weeks)

Myah videos
I love this video! I think it's hilarious that she's trying to shovel and that you can hear her talking through the window!
One night I was reading Justin some things from Myah's 18 month appointment. Myah took the paper and started reading it like I was! Hopefully that's not what she thinks I sound like!
At her 18 month appointment everything looked great...besides that she was crying the whole time due to being scared of the doctor's office. She was almost 23 lbs (25th percentile-which is high for her!) and 32.5 inches long (70th percentile).

Our January life
Things around here have been pretty normal. I'm making a quiet book for Myah, so that's been taking up any spare time I have. I really am enjoying it though, so I'll be sad when it's done! I'm finally better, with an occasional cough. Myah's feeling mostly better too, and the baby is moving around and kicking me like crazy! Here are some pics of what Myah's been up to lately. She makes us laugh all the time!
J and I turned around to find Myah trying to take off her shirt by herself!
Myah wants to eat ALL THE TIME, even right after she's had a big meal. So the way to distract her from that is to either have her play in the water...
...or "help" me cook or do something on the counter. In this pic, we were "cooking" something and then she found my zip-lock bags and decided it was fun to take them all out. Fun discoveries!
And here she is modeling stuffed animal, Snoopy's flight goggles! She is constantly blowing my mind with what she knows and remembers, and the funny things she does!
We went to our targeted ultrasound appointment yesterday (at almost 24 weeks along) and got some great 3D shots of the new baby! Much better then the ones we got with Myah. The lady just kept saying how long she is! And seriously, she was putting the paddle ALL OVER my belly! She's estimated to weight 1 lb 3 oz and everything looks great.
This is the bottom of her foot. So cute!

It's a....
...girl! We're having another girl. We're excited about it and are very glad we don't have to buy stuff for a boy! We just don't have space. I am very glad to know the baby's gender. I feel like it helps me bond so much better to the baby, instead of calling it "it" all the time! Now I can think about the details. The most interesting to think about is: will she look like Myah or more like Justin and I? Because Myah looks nothing like us!
I'm still trying to get over this flu junk. I've had it for almost 3 weeks and I'm still having issues from it. My sister-in-law Jess commented on my last post that pregnant ladies should be exempt from sickness...and I whole-heartedly agree! It's hard enough dealing with the aches, pains, and sickness from pregnancy. Hopefully it will be gone soon!

Half way!
This past week I had the flu, and am mostly recoved now, but I had Justin take a pic of me (even though I look nasty) to show me at 20 weeks. I had to cancel my appointment last week due to the flu, so I go in tomorrow. Hopefully the baby won't be shy again and we'll see what gender it is!
Here's a few pictures to show a little of what Myah's been up to lately:
She loves "helping" me with laundry and sitting on the washer while it goes.
She remembered this week that bath's ARE fun (as long as I wash her hair in the sink).
And licking the yummy brownie mix is the best!
