I love free outings!

Farmington Station
Always a fun place to go! The girls loved the fountains, as usual. I could stay at this fountain area for hours! It's so relaxing...the nice chairs, fountain shows, jazz music, playground...I just love it!
On the way to the car Reagan refused to hold anyone's hand but Myah's. She does that every so often and I think it's adorable.
Dinosaur Parkway
(Not sure if that's what it's called, but that's what I call it!) This is right next to the Dinosaur park on 12th street in Ogden. They have this nice path by the river that wraps around the dinosaur park.
 Our perfect spot for lunch!
Throwing rocks into the river...doesn't get much better than that!
I think this picture shows their exhaustion at the end pretty well.
And I have to throw this picture in. Myah and Reagan love this car that Nana and Papa got for the kids to drive at their house. Reagan loves helping Myah steer (can you see her little hand on the wheel with Myah's?) and they could probably drive it for hours! My, oh my, I love watching these girls play together!

February Fun

February was unusually warm so we were able to do a lot of fun things outside...and inside!
Nana and Papa G's house to swim!
The Calder girls and kids went up and had a great time swimming!

                                                                 Strange smile, but cute position!
Layton Park with Cousins

Safe Kids Fair
This was at the South Towne Expo Center. It sounded fun, so we went! And it WAS fun! The girls loved it and loved all these mascot guys! (Notice that Reagan is always looking at the mascot!)

The Binky Fairy!

Myah's binky...
...something I didn't think we could get rid of while living in our apartment. I was sure she'd freak out during the night if she woke up without it and I didn't want to wake the neighbors every night! But I am very proud to say that after many discussions with Myah about her binky, she decided it was time to say goodbye!!!!
Here's what we did!
She gathered her binkies and we put them in this gift bag for the "Binky Fairy!" As we talked about this during the month before, I told her the Binky Fairy will take her binkies to babies who need them since she doesn't need them anymore. She really liked that idea of helping the babies. (Yes, it may be a lie, but I was willing to do what I needed to to get those binkies gone!)
Then she put it outside the front door before she went to bed...without her binky for the first time! And we didn't have any problems during the night! I was shocked!
The next morning...
...Myah opened the door and the Binky Fairy had taken the binkies and put a present in their place!
Myah was sooooo excited! She'd been wanting a bubble gun, and imagine that, the Binky Fairy brought it for her!
Myah hasn't slept with a binky since Feb. 2nd and she's done amazing! We haven't had any problems with her complaining or not sleeping. I am so excited and it's been nice not to have to find a lost binky during the night! Myah is also very excited because she really likes that she's becoming a big girl! She'll randomly come up to me during the day and say, "I don't sleep with my binky!!" This was much easier than I imagined and I'm so proud of my Myah.

Our January

Lovin the princess shoes from Christmas.
Matchy, matchy.
I assembled a better and nicer-looking shelving unit for the toys. I was so proud!
Date to the Cheesecake Factory!
Reagan helping daddy with some woodwork.
(Myah fell off her bike on purpose, just so you aren't worried. She likes to do that a lot!)
I watched a friends' two kids for a day and Myah was in baby heaven! Jack is 4 months old and Myah loved helping him in any way! She was with him pretty much the entire day. I think she's baby-hungry. She's always asking when we're going to have another baby or saying things like, "when we have our nother baby, what will we name her?" or "when we have our nother baby I'll feed him because I'll be bigger."
Reagan has caught on how to use daddy's animation tool. She wanted to watch a video he had shown her and she took matters into her own hands to try to play it again.
The PET STORE! The girls were in heaven with all the animals! Reagan loved the ferrets the best. She also loved the dogs that would come in with their owners.
Myah loved the animals but I think this squeaky toy might have been her highlight!
I can't believe January is over already!
