36 weeks

Well, I am now 36 (and a 1/2) weeks along; full term, so the baby would be safe to come anytime now. I am scheduled to be induced on the 23rd if she hasn't come yet. As you can tell from the picture, I'm having issues with my maternity clothes not fitting well anymore. It makes me want to just walk around in my undies. It would sure be a lot more comfortable! Either way, we are so excited to meet our baby and see what she looks like!
Justin is doing well. He stays busy with his job and working on his animation in the evenings. He's also had a bunch of drafting job interviews recently. He's a hard worker and I'm so grateful for that. Myah loves when he comes home from work and she can rough-house with him. She just loves her daddy.

Activities & Babies

A few weeks ago when I was putting away our Bountiful Basket (a produce co-op), Myah really enjoyed playing with all the peppers. She also liked eating them; we thought it was odd.
Playing with my rarely worn jewelry.
Ultrasound pics
Last week we had another baby appointment. I'm 34 weeks and she's weighing about 5 lbs. This time we got some pretty good 3D ultrasound pics...though none of her face. Don't get scared by the cut-off looking body parts! That's just how the ultrasound looks at certain times!
Her right elbow and right knee are touching and she's hiding her face with her arm. Her head is at the top with her right ear showing.
Right foot. (I know it looks creepy!)
I am so excited for this little one to get here! I've been having painful Braxton Hicks these past few weeks and have to remind myself all the time to take it easy. I over-did it cleaning yesterday and paid for it later! So today I'm trying to tell myself that it's ok to sit and relax more-I have a hard time with that. I feel like I should be cleaning or cooking something!
Baby Elizabeth
Justin's sister, Rachel's new little girl, born last week. Such a cute little girl!
 Play Dough & Coloring
We had a really fun time with this homemade play dough today. And thank goodness for cookie-cutters. They were a hit!

Easter Festivitites

Easter with the Calder's
Noah was sick and Porter lives in Pennsylvania, so Myah had an Easter egg hunt by herself while we all watched. She had fun, though it would have been more fun with cousins of course!
Justin and I made the cake.
And it wouldn't be a visit to the Calder's without some weird game the boys come up with!

Easter with the Tew's
Myah loves babies (hopefully this continues when our baby is born), so she was trying to give Jones a kiss.
Jumping with Brenna. She loves the trampoline and playing outside!
We also celebrated Dad and Kristy's birthdays. I didn't get a pic of them...darn!

Quiet book...done!

I finished the quiet book that I've been working on since January!
I loved making it...and I must have because I ended up doing it all by hand. I kept telling myself I'd use my mom or mom-in-law's sewing machines, but it never happened. Anyways, I'm excited because Myah enjoys it even though she can't do some of the stuff yet. I took it to church on Sunday and it kept her occupied for a lot of sacrament meeting. Here's a video of the book:

Lately

We had a scare on Saturday night: (notice blood around mouth)
Myah fell pretty hard on the corner of a shelf right on her mouth. Her mouth was gushing blood and when looking at her, there was so much blood covering her teeth that I thought she'd knocked her top teeth out! She was very freaked out so I held her and tried to keep her distracted with a show and a popsicle (after the bleeding mostly stopped). Her lip got very swollen; so much that when she smiled you couldn't see any of her top teeth. After inspection, she cut part of her gums and her lip, but it's been healing nicely and today the swelling is almost gone. She's loved having lots of popsicles and ice though!
Besides that, it's been pretty calm around here. She still loves helping me cook.
She also loves climbing on and sitting in her old car seat and playing with the stuff around it.
And of course she LOVES to be outside. She'll constantly say "ou-side" and bring me her shoes. I could hear her say that word all day! So we do go out a lot...luckily it's nicer weather this week. This bike was given to us from a lady at Justin's work. It's way too big for her, but she loves sitting on it while we push! Her little legs don't reach the pedals all the way, so they just dangle! We think it looks hilarious!

As for me and the pregnancy, I'm pretty miserable already and am not sure how I'm going to last 8 more weeks (if I go to 40 weeks). For my future reference I'm going to list why...so skip ahead if I sound too whiny! I have heart-burn most of the day and night, my nose is always stuffed (it was the entire last pregnancy too), I'm always exhausted, I get really intense upper-back pain that makes me nauseous, I feel like my belly is going to break open from the stretching, and the other usual discomforts like not sleeping well, pressure, peeing all the time, etc. I'm so excited to be done and have her here! I do love feeling her move all the time (even though many times it hurts!). I even like feeling her hiccups at this point. I went to an appointment yesterday, and she's estimated to weigh 3 lb, 9 oz right now and everything looks great! I'll stop complaining now...

Play time!

First off, I'm 30 weeks along now, so I'm sure time will fly until the baby gets here!
Second, the weather last week was amazing! Seems like every blog I've seen lately has park pictures. Here are ours from one of the days.
Myah loves to go down slides and swing. She could go all day! This park didn't have a baby swing, but a few other parks we've gone to have, and she loves that!
I think it's amazing how little kids are so quick to be friends. Any time there's any kids around, they are like magnets to each other and it's like they've been friends forever. A good lesson for us all! This was her little friend this day and it was cute to see him wanting to do everything with her!

Upper 20's

A few weeks ago I turned 26. I am officially in my upper 20's, which is very strange to me. We had a little party at the Calders which was fun...but I forgot the camera! Then last Saturday we celebrated with the Tew side...also much fun!
I asked the girls where the camera was in this picture. (Notice the massive plate of food I got for Myah. I thought I got way too much but she ate the entire plate plus seconds on some items! She was sitting in her chair eating most of the evening being a bottom-less pit!)
My favorite kind of b-day cake: fun-fetti with the fun-fetti frosting!

Justin and I thought it was so cute to see Myah sitting Indian-style in her chair.
This pic was taken at the Calders a while ago, but I thought I'd throw it in. Myah and Noah are doing "touch-down" with Papa!
